Timothy Johnson’s artistry has appeared in Vogue, Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Glamour, and O,The Oprah Magazine. He has collaborated with top photographers – Arthur Elgort, Francois Halard, Frabrizio Ferri, and Patrick Demarchelier.

He has worked with numerous celebrity clients such as Paris Hilton, Frances McDormand, Mariska Hargitay, Iman, Mia Farrow, Naomi Campbell, Caroline Murphy, and Jenny McCarthy.

As a child, Timothy watched his mother style her client’s hair and he knew it was something he wanted to do. He loved the art of transformation.

He started his career at Vidal Sassoon in Chicago. When he was not cutting and styling hair, he was training staff and traveling around the country teaching advanced techniques in hair design.

After moving to Milan, Timothy began his career in fashion, styling hair for runway shows, photo shoots and commercials. At this time, he also added makeup to his repertoire.

Assignments have taken Johnson to the most amazing places – Buenos Aires, Capri, Florence, Harbor Island, Paris, Saint-Tropez, Rome, and more. He has also styled hair for top designer shows such as Armani, Balenciaga, Chanel, Dolce Gabbana, Gucci, and Valentino.

Some of Timothy’s advertising and catalog clients include Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Avon, Nike, Lord & Taylor, Nine West, and Maybelline.

Timothy currently resides in New York City.
